This is the most important word in all marketing copy. Your advertisement should always
focus on what your product or service offers the customer, as they are the person that’s
buying it.
Use the word “you” as appropriate within your marketing copy. Not only will this align

EASY
Customers want to use products that are easy and simple to use. You’ll never sell a
product by discussing how complex and difficult it is. Favorite products make things
easier, not more difficult. That’s a product that they’re likely to keep coming back to.
BENEFIT
Make sure that you list what benefits your customers will receive if they go with your
product. Even if the computer you’re selling has the largest hard drive, the customer only
really wants to know how buying a computer with the largest hard drive will ultimately
help them.
So instead of making a giant list of all of the features of your product, focus on what
benefits your product has and what problems your product or service solves.
