This paper mainly deals with the different events and the events impact on the English
language. Different movements brought many changes to the English language. Modern
technology brought printing, mobile phones, emails, and some short forms of the languages
are exposed because of the different movements. As the life-changing similarly the people
English languages changes form the past to its current position. How different events brought
about changes in spoken and written English language and how the change will persist even
in the future. The combination of languages in trade, commercial and technical progress
resulted in modern English. The press has facilitated language standardization, and the
internet has simplified new terms in English, while social media platforms have made it
possible for English speakers to invent new terms and words with reference to newness, while
English is a prestigious language for media and other sources of en1
tertainment. Simply put,
with media, the internet, and other technologies, political, social and economic globalization
makes English a vital and increasingly viable tool for communication and new developments
provide English the potential to prosper as a language. In the future, contemporary English
may soon become ultra-modern as the language is dynamic and always changing.
1. Words: Native and Borrowed.
During history, there are many aspects that could shape the language of a
country. However there are only two main factors which can make huge
difference in a culture, in one hand there is meaning and on the other hand
vocabulary. In addition bothshow which words they are going to keep as
their own heritage; moreover as the history of a country continue to develop
this factors start to suffer changes as well.
Since the beginning of the history, there are not records of how may have
looked like a language, not until the OE period, at that time people started to
had the necessity to communicate not vital expressions, but at least some
simply words. Furthermore, with the development not only of language, but
also of technology people started to use other mechanism ways to get to a
place, as a consequences new waves of tribes started to migrated to other
places which brought influential changes to that culture in terms of
language.
It is important to point out that these changes were significance to its people,
because it showed what they were, it was part of their identitywhich makes
this long process even more interesting, because up to now have never
stop, and it wont’ due to the constants relationship that a country can
establish with other, and language will be always one of the important
factors that could demonstrate how a culture is made for.
