HOW 2.0 USE WORDSIFT WITH
YOUR STUDENTS- 1
   Copy the reading text you are planning to use with your
    students and ask them if they can guess what the text is
    about.

   Let your students identify the academic words in the
    cloud, then click AWL option, and check their answers.

   Use Visual Thesaurus to discuss the related words with
    your students.

   Ask your students click “create workspace” and write an
    essay by dragging the words from the word cloud.
HOW 2.0 USE WORDSIFT WITH
YOUR STUDENTS- 2
   Have your students sift the text instead of skimming it

   Divide your students into groups of three. Click on the
    unfamiliar words to show the images related to those
    words, and ask them to guess their meanings.

   Use wordsift to identify the key vocabulary.

   Let your students watch the videos on the wordsift
    website and ask them write a summary.

   Show your students “Examples from Source” part and ask
    them rewrite the sentences.
