- Slide one- Welcome – I want to personally thank you for attending todays presentation of Think and Grow Rich for Women. I believe the choice you made to be here today was not by accident. I believe I the power of Kismit. My goal for our time together today is two fold : That you will start to find your voice You realize that you have tremendous power and opportunity to create a life you choose and more importantly one that you love!
- Slide Two- Warren Buffet- Women are the future of American Business. The evidence is everywhere, from Warren Buffets 2013 declaration that women are the key to the Nation’s financial success, to the 30 Trillion in international global wealth that women stand to inherit. Women are leading a quiet global revolution for the sakes of their families, their future’s and their own fulfillment. I would like to share with you some stats to drive my point home. I think you will see from the next few slides I share with you that we still have a LONG way to go!
- Slide 7 - Why Women- While the steps to success are the same for everyone, men and women often approach the principles behind them very differently. The original TGR was written from a male perspective, in an era when all of the titans of business were men. For these reasons and many others , Sharon Lechter – the award winning author of TGR-Three Feet from Gold, and coauthor of the multi million selling Rich Dad Poor Dad created TGRW. This book applies Napoleon Hills wealth building principles to the lives of modern women. Combing Hills 13 steps to success with the insites and experience of hundreds of remarkable women including Sandra Day O’Conner, Mary Kay Ash, Caroline Kennedy, Tory Burch, Mary Barra, Condoleezza Rice just to name a few!
- Slide 8- The Balance- We believe that we can give women a plan to overcome obstacles, seize opportunities , define and achieve their goals, live their dreams AND replace The “Work Life Balance” guilt trip with “One Big Life” filled with Love, family , significance AND Success. I hope I have now captured your attention. I am going to share with you Four of the Principles I live and work by. These four for me are the foundation of a successful life.
- Slide 9- Step one to Wealth-“ Desire”- Hill says” All achievement, no matter what may be it’s nature or purpose must begin with an intense, burning desire for something definite. This is one of the easiest to feel but the most difficult to execute. I want to challenge you to day to define the “One thing” you desire. Something that is burning a hole in side you. I want to challenge you that today is the day that you commit to : Set A Goal- What is it that keeps you up at night? Is it to finish your degree, become an entrepreneur, retire, build your bank account? All are worthy goals but to obtain them you MUST have a solid, written plan with actionable items Set A Definite Date- Establish a Definite Date in which you will start the path on your #ONEBIG life Make A Definite Plan- You must create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at ONCE! Whether you’re ready or not! Procrastination is the enemy of success Write Your Statement of Desire- Remember those that have had great success have also seen great failure. The turning point in the lives of those that succeed, usually comes at the moment of some crisis, through which they are introduced to their other self.
- Hill says Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmitting desire into its monetary equivalent. The basis of persistence is the power of will. Will power and will when combined make an irresistible pair. What successful people have is will-power, which they mix with persistence, and place BACK of their desires to ensure the obtainment of their objectives. Definiteness of purpose- Know what one wants is the first and perhaps, the most important step toward developing persistence. Will Power – the habit of concentrating ones’ thoughts upon the building of plans for attainment Direct Result of Habit- The mind absorbs and becomes part of your daily experience upon which it feeds. FEAR is the WORST of all enemies can be effectively cured by force of repetition of acts of courage
- Analysis if several hundred people who had accumulated fortunes beyond the million-dollar mark disclosed the fact that every one of them had the habit of reaching decisions promptly, and of changing decisions slowly, if, and when they were changed. People who fail to accumulate money, without exception, have the habit of reaching decisions, if at all, very slowly, ad of changing these decisions quickly and often. Reach your own decisions. - Hill says take no one into confidence except your mastermind group or as I would phrase it “Your Tribe” . The world is full of opinions from unsuccessful and unambious people. Guard your mind. Mastermind with likeminded people. - Trust few, only your “Tribe”.
- Analysis if several hundred people who had accumulated fortunes beyond the million-dollar mark disclosed the fact that every one of them had the habit of reaching decisions promptly, and of changing decisions slowly, if, and when they were changed. People who fail to accumulate money, without exception, have the habit of reaching decisions, if at all, very slowly, ad of changing these decisions quickly and often. Reach your own decisions. - Hill says take no one into confidence except your mastermind group or as I would phrase it “Your Tribe” . The world is full of opinions from unsuccessful and unambious people. Guard your mind. Mastermind with likeminded people. - Trust few, only your “Tribe”.
- P = Passion What are you passionate about? What makes your heart sing? Think about the times in your life when you have been most fulfilled. What were you doing? Find your “Why” – do what you love, love what you do. T = Talent In what activities do you excel? What are your talents? Are you a great communicator? Do you have a knack for numbers? Can you cook or draw? Combine your passion and your talent. A = Association Association refers to the people and organizations you surround yourself with. Think of the five people you spend the most time with. Do they support you? Are they successful? Do you need to change your associations? Collaboration not competition. Having the right people around you. Controlling your environment. Creating an environment of being able to accelerate your growth. A = Action Making a change requires taking action. Are you really committed to improving your life, or are you just attracted to the possibility? You’ve got to go the extra mile you’ve got to take action. You have to work towards achieving your goal. F = Faith This is often the toughest part of the equation to master. Having faith means believing in yourself and your idea despite the obstacles you may encounter. Converting fear into faith. Have faith in yourself, have faith in what you are doing, which helps you create that great success.
- In conclusion – FEARS are nothing more than a state of mind. One’s state of mind is subject to control and direction. Nature has endowed men and women with absolute control of one thing, and that is your thoughts! This fact coupled with the additional fact that everything which man creates begins in the form of thought, leads one very near to the principle by which fear can be mastered. You have the power to control your own mind, you have the power to feed it whatever thought impulses you choose. With this privilege goes also the responsibility of using it constructively. Part of success is self-control , including and not limited to what you allow into you mind!
