This document highlights eight women artists of color for Women's History Month: Amrita Sher-Gill, Anjolie Ela-Menon, Faith Ringgold, Frida Kahlo, Gwendolyn Knight, Julie Mehretu, Kara Walker, and Vija Celmins. The purpose is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of these influential women artists from a diversity of cultural backgrounds.
