In-TIC consiste en una aplicación personalizable y gratuita para personas con discapacidad, que les permite mejorar su autonomía personal a través de:
• Sistema de acceso simplificado al ordenador, mediante la creación y configuración de teclados, pudiendo usar diferentes ayudas técnicas como pulsadores o emuladores de ratón.
• Comunicador dinámico, creando plantillas con texto, sonido e imágenes. In-TIC integra los pictogramas de ARASAAC y Aumentativa.net, y los sonidos del MEC, pero permite utilizar cualquier archivo personalizado.
Posibilita la accesibilidad y usabilidad de las TIC independientemente de las necesidades y habilidades del usuario. Para ello se ofrecen dos interfaces: la del usuario y la del tutor, encargado de adaptar el proyecto al usuario final.
La Fundación Orange promueve In-TIC, desarrollado por el Grupo IMEDIR de la Universidade Coruña, con el apoyo del Plan Avanza. En la fase piloto, se ha colaborado con ASPACE, Cruz Roja y ASPANAES.
