As an European leader in waste management solutions and with 140 years experience in
manufacturing machinery, Pöttinger develops and manufactures products and provides services
for sustainable waste management. With their “One World” philosophy, Pöttinger delivers top
quality products such as the MULTIPRESS Compactors that are designed for a long service life.
Using a newly developed press geometry that includes a tapered press bottom, curved press
plate and high quality piston guiding, the MULTIPRESS range of platforms boasts an effective
retention system and an improved capacity of up to 20% more fill volume. For required situations,
additional equipment can be quickly bolted on for easy adaptation to universal deployments. All
MULTIPRESS models also undergo full sandblasting, cathodic electrodeposition (CED) coating
and powder coating, an environmentally friendly process carried out without any solvents and
results in fully coated parts that are hard-wearing and UV resistant. Similar to what is used in the
car industry, this is the first time this process has been applied for waste compactors.
