Swami Chinmayananda was a special son of Mother India. His presence on

planet earth between 1916—1993 enabled millions of people to experience
true joy that cannot be described in words. He tirelessly shared the
knowledge of Vedanta through his talks on the Bhagavad Gita and the
Upanishads. This empowered many people to ‘get’ inner wealth by
transforming their vision and their lives. His efforts have culminated in a
world- wide organization with 300 centres, 90 schools, colleges, hospitals,
old age homes, orphanages and rural development wings, all of which
contribute to make our world better.
As part of curtain raiser to the centenary celebrations, Chinmaya Mission in
