This document provides information about tools for planning and pricing a Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) deployment on Azure. It describes the WVD Pricing Calculator and Solution Configurator tools. The Pricing Calculator provides a simple cost estimate, while the comprehensive Solution Configurator is an Excel spreadsheet that models deployment profiles, licensing, management, infrastructure costs and provides a total WVD cost comparison. It retrieves up-to-date Azure pricing and specification data through macros, but these can be entered manually if macros or internet connectivity are disabled. The document includes an example of modeling costs for different user groups in a customer environment migrating to WVD.

functions to retrieve up to date Azure pricing and spec data
To enable this functionality, make sure internet connectivity and macros
are enabled
If macros are disabled or internet connectivity is disabled, then values
must be pricing and spec data may be entered manually
