William Wallace was born in Scotland in 1272 to parents Margaret Crauford and Alan/Malcolm Wallace. He led Scottish forces to victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297 but was defeated at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298. Wallace was executed for treason at the age of 32-33.
