William Johns is an avid pianist who enjoys the challenge of playing Baroque music, especially Bach's two-part inventions. Baroque music spanned from 1600 to 1750 and was characterized by distinctive rhythmic patterns and consistent moods. Composers from Germany and Italy heavily influenced the Baroque period, most notably Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as Handel, Vivaldi, and Pachelbel. Other important figures included violin maker Antonio Stradivari and organ builder Gottfried Silbermann.
