about me
My work as a student and professional designer has allowed me to delve
into every type of design, from commercial to residential, and as such has
well-prepared me for the standards and techniques of each niche.
As I search for a place in the working world, my strong work ethic and
interest for design drive the decisons that I make to ensure client
satisfaction and personal success.
I have always had a love for all things design from photography, to
graphic design, to architecture. Aiding a hand in designing spaces that
people love to live and work in is my true passion and life calling. I cannot
wait to see where fulfilling that calling leads me to next!

Through promotion of the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design
program, I had the opportunity to work directly with
clients - both in the store and in their homes - to help bring
their dream living spaces to reality. Offering design solu-
tions for their space through 2D floor plans and 3D views,
in turn allowed them to review their purchase in a virtual
sense before making a buying decision.

educational design
The concept of the anchor reinforces the importance of
building a strong and solid foundation in education. As the
University’s main goal is to develop future leaders and
innovators, that foundation must be anchored in innovative
classroom environments that expose students to diverse and
stimulating experiences. With this mindset at the base of all that
is accomplished at NEXTUniversity, a premier education will be
offered which ensures student success upon graduation.

samsung kiosk
With modern-day urban life being highly crowded and chaotic, Samsung
Galaxy strives to keep users connected with the vast surrounding community
and create simplicity in daily life. This shopping experience seeks to
effectively communicate Samsung’s prime focus: streamlining your life.
The kiosk design serves as the emblem of simplification in our chaotic
world. This is evident through the harsh, multi-layer, chaotic exterior and
clean, white, smooth interior.

The client is a single, 40 year old professional, Rick Huang.
Rick is especially interested in the architecture of the 1920s
and 30s and has selected an apartment building from this
time period. Entertaining accomodations and environmental
awareness are two important concepts to keep in mind when
designing the loft. An additional client requirement is the use
of Rick’s designer furniture pieces which will need to be
integrated into the loft layout and design.
