about me I started as graphic designer 20 years ago...
in a little advertising agency named SEP PUBLICIDAD,
I worked for this company 3 years.
After that I received an offer to work as scientific illustrator for
the National Biodiversity Institute where I had the opportunity to
collaborate with the department of entomology and botany,
where I had to attending an intership at the Smithsonian
Institute in Washington DC, a training in the development of
digital artwork, when I came back fron Washington DC I was
asked if I could be interested in design the look&fell for Inbio’s
web site version 2.0. and this was my first experience with web
site building production.
Also, I supported non-profit organizations such as Access
Foundation which promoted the development of websites
for small organizations in rural areas based on support social
welfare projects and promote through the custom design as
well as volunteer work projects and Cen -Sinai responsibility of
Costa Rica.
I had been a developer of commercial design projects with the
Grupo Nación for 8 years, where I collaborated with print and
digital products, animated banners , microsites design using as
a key information to create visual impact using usability and
accesibility requirements for interactivity.
The last two years (2014-16) I have been part of Moxie’s
Studio 10 Team, where I’m working as a motion designer and
producing web banner campaigns for Moxie’s clients, first
editing with flash technology and migrating from flash to HTML
platforms, also editing multimedia animations or retouching,
croping and optimizing assets for different products.

ANIMATED GIFSweb design
An animated GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) file is a graphic image on a

CARTOON&ANIMATION
A Flash animation is an animated film which is created by Adobe Flash
software and often distributed in the .swf file format. The term Flash animation
refers to a file format but to a certain kind of movement and visual style.
DARKITA is a character made for animated cards for Tarjeticas.co.cr, where
users can find differents animated sending cards for hollidays, birthdays,
Greeting cards etc, the characters and all the animation were made from
Adobe Flash software.

the Artistic illustration in graphic design, is a visual communication and
graphic arts study is the best way to facilitate interaction with the message
the identity of form and is the most basic way to convey a concept without
using words.

editorial illustration goes along with the actual written text of the editorial.
The illustration is meant to highlight a particular aspect or theme that the
editorial is trying to get across to the reader.
