1. You may be aware that in 2011 The Institute of Learning & Management
identified a lack of confidence as one of the key factors for women not moving
onwards and upwards. Although ReNew You is not specifically aimed at
encouraging women to go for promotion (although it can be depending on the
organisation/participant), it follows that increasing womens' confidence has a
knock on effect in all areas, for the individual and organisation. Confidence is
critical to facing change well, so ReNew You can be used as part of a change
management process, as downsizing, restructuring, redundancy etc
undoubtedly generates concern, uncertainty and anxiety for many. A lack of
confidence can undermine a person's resilience generally to dealing with
situations they may find challenging.
The workshop is supported by the ReNew You Journal which is designed for use
during the workshop and beyond. It includes the workshop content, 52 weekly
activities and 12 monthly inspirational stories all designed to support
participants motivation, enthusiasm and confidence throughout the year.
So, from a sustainability and cost effective perspective, it's a one day
workshop that lasts a whole year!
The ReNew You Workshop is delivered by Patricia Cresswell, who has been described as
an inspirational personal development facilitator and coach. With 25 years experience and
specialising in womens' development, she was a finalist in the 'WOW' (Women on their
Way) Awards in the category 'Outstanding Contribution to Womens' Learning &
Development'. Patricia was one of the first trainers licensed to run the amazing ReNew
You programme.
