McDonalds started the exercise to share its passion and love with which it produces beef for its burgers. But people used this social media to post their bad experiences at McDonalds. People used the social media to post the bad quality of food they had in McDonalds, or the experience of finding a fingernail in burger. The hastag was not neutral and so was suspectible to exploitation. The flow of the negative comments worked like an avalanche, gathering pace and mass with each negative comment.
