Employees arrived at work to see a notice inviting them to a funeral for the person hindering their growth. At the funeral, excitement grew as people wondered who this person was. However, upon looking in the coffin, they saw only their own reflection in a mirror. A sign explained that the only person capable of limiting one's growth is oneself.
Understanding Oneself-Thoughts such as, what does understanding oneself mean, what it is all about and what its different facets are, may enable the facilitator understand it better. Some such thoughts about understanding oneself are given below.

Landmark Forum believes in the power of ‘self realization’Landmark Forum
Who does not like to progress in the world? Everyone wants to achieve the golden pot at the end of the rainbow. This makes the world a very competitive place to live in. However, the beauty of the working ways of the world is that everyone has a chance to achieve the objective.
I am collecting here all quotes, inspirational one liners which i came across, said by different thinkers and poets and found helpful.It might help you too.
“How can I possibly start over?” you ask as we stare at the waves tumbling towards us on the beach. “I’m older now. Who would hire me?”
“It’s better this way,” I whisper. “You know it wasn’t good the way it was.”
One of the largest challenges of our lives is making sure that we do not meet our need to feel significant in a way that is destructive. For example, many people in their need to feel significant will try and be critical of others.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.
LF Energy Webinar: Electrical Grid Modelling and Simulation Through PowSyBl -...DanBrown980551
Do you want to learn how to model and simulate an electrical network from scratch in under an hour?
Then welcome to this PowSyBl workshop, hosted by Rte, the French Transmission System Operator (TSO)!
During the webinar, you will discover the PowSyBl ecosystem as well as handle and study an electrical network through an interactive Python notebook.
PowSyBl is an open source project hosted by LF Energy, which offers a comprehensive set of features for electrical grid modelling and simulation. Among other advanced features, PowSyBl provides:
- A fully editable and extendable library for grid component modelling;
- Visualization tools to display your network;

Who Is Hindering Your Growth
1. One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big Notice on the door on which it was written: “ Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.” Author Unknown – Presentation compiled by Cornelia “ Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym.”
2. The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.
3. Everyone thought: “ Who is this guy who was hindering my progress?” “ Well , at least he died!”
4. There was a mirror inside the coffin: Everyone who looked inside it could see himself.
5. There was also a sign next to the mirror that said: “ There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: It is YOU.”
6. You are the only person who can revolutionise your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realisation and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself. Your life does not change, when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.
7. “ Examine yourself, watch yourself, handle yourself well in front of others.” “ Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: Be a winner, build yourself and your reality.” “ The most important relationship you can have; is the one you have with yourself.” It is not what happens to us, it's the way we choose to handle life that makes the difference.
