The document discusses biblical passages that describe who believers are in Christ. 2.  THE WORD OF GOD (THE HOLY BIBLE) HAS
MANY AFFIRMATIONS THAT DESCRIBE
WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST, IN THE OLD AND
NEW TESTAMENT BOOKS

3. In Genesis 1:26 the beginning of
the scripture states “ And GOD
said “ Let US make men in OUR
image, after our likeness.
In John 1: 1-3, It states “ In the
beginning was the WORD and the
WORD was with GOD and the
WORD was God. (2) “ The same
was in the beginning was with
GOD. (3) ALL things were made
by HIM and without HIM not any
thing made that was made.

4.  In the remaining slides my mission and
motive is to get you to realize who you
truly are in Jesus Christ.

5.  In Jeremiah 1:5 God told Jeremiah this
“Before I formed thee in the belly (mother’s
womb) I knew thee: and before you came
forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,
AND I ordained a prophet unto the nations.
 Here God was letting Jeremiah know that
even before he placed him in his mother’s
womb God has planned in his mind to
create a vessel for his Glory. Don’t you
know God had similar plans for YOU as
well???

6.  In John 3:16 Jesus himself is letting us know
that it was God the Father who sent Him to
save the world. And that those of us who
believed in him would not perish and would
have ETERNAL LIFE.
 In Acts 2:21tells us that “whosoever calls on
the name of the Lord Shall be SAVED… I
don’t know about you but I am so glad I
called on Jesus. Guess what there is
more……

7.  Did you know that when God
made you He took his time to
create you very special. Not
only did he make you fearless
He made you wonderful.
 And when you answered to
the call of accepting his son
Jesus Christ, and you said YES,
you became ROYALTY. You
are of a Royal Priesthood (
Shouting Yet???)

8.  In the last few slides we will go over the
benefits of “ Who you are in Jesus
Christ….

9.  Here are a few scriptures that tell you of
how you are Accepted in Jesus Christ.
 John 1:12- I am God’s Child
 John 15:15 – I am Jesus’s Friend
 Romans 5:1 – I have been Justified
 1 Corinthians 6:17 I am UNITED with the
Lord.
 Ephesians 2:18 – I have access to God
thru the Holy Spirit
 Colossians 1:14 &2:10 – I am Redeemed
Forgiven and Complete in Jesus Christ

10.  Romans 8:1-2 I am free FOREVER
from CONDEMNATION
 Romans 8:28 I am assured all
works together for GOOD.
 Romans 8:35-39 Nothing can
separated me from the LOVE of
God.
 Philippians 1:6 God has begun a
Good Work in Me.
 Philippians 3:20 I am a CITZEN of
Heaven

11.  Matthew 5:13-14 I am the Salt & Light of
the Earth.
 John 15: 1,5 I am CONNECTED to the
true VINE
 John 17 Jesus Prayed for Me.
 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 I am a Minister of
reconciliation for God.
 1 Peter 2: 9-10 I am of a Royal Priesthood
called out of the darkness into the
marvelous Light of Jesus Christ!!

12. There are many affirmations in the Word of
God that lets us know who we are in Christ. So
many that there is not enough time in a day
to go through all of them. I Praise God for
allowing me to share the ones He placed in
my spirit to share with you all. I encourage
you all to continue to PRAY for others and
yourself. Next week Sister Paris will share with
you all the IMPORTANCE of PRAYER. Thank
