Habitat fragmentation is one of the leading causes of extinction, loss of habitat or animals
finding destroyed homes either due to human activities or natural clamities is causing the
survival to be difficult for animals and birds. Growing human population is another major cause
of extinction. For example, florida panther, Loggerhead sea Turtle, , Atlantic blue fin tuna,
Mississippi frog, polar bear, and Gulf sturgeon have been noted as being under serious threat due
to mass human population growth. These animals are rapidly loosing their habitat due to human
population increase which is increasing human activities and occupying free lands for human
occupancy and use of forest resourses for human lives.
Deforestation, which has reasons mainly related to money or people\'s needs have made many
species homeless. Removing trees removes most of the canopy, which blocks sun’s rays and
holds heat at night. Deforestation leads to increase in extreme temperatures causing harm to
plants and animal species..
