According to studies, humans originated in Africa and migrated throughout the world from a single man around 60,000 years ago. Scientists use DNA to trace the origins of humanity, such as the Y chromosome. One of the earliest places of migration was Australia. In the 6th century AD, a large volcanic eruption caused a climatic catastrophe that brought famine, droughts, and floods worldwide for 18 months as the sun did not reappear.
