● Get a list of industries - pick a niche.
● Choose a name for the agency and start making social media accounts/a
website based on that niche. Go ahead and do all the paperwork right
before/alongside this step.
● Start making content - blog, social media, Medium, and a newsletter.
● Get LinkedIn Sales Navigator and start adding around 50-100 people in
the niche per day - don’t sell but provide value.
● Choose a program that is aimed at helping you get clients and keeping
them - follow the person who leads that program, read his/her books (if
there are any), etc.
● Get 2 clients - at that point get that program.
● At the 3rd client, assuming it’s at least $1,500/month clients, start getting
the first hire. Make sure it’s a local hire, but start off work-from-home.
● Document everything. Then start training staff on the SOPs as you get
more staff.
● Start a podcast for the niche. Start another podcast for successful
agency owners (and interview them as the experts).
● Get an office at the 4th client.
