Yoga And Superliving Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
The document discusses the principles of yoga. It states that there are three components to human response - cognition, affect, and conation. The final stage of yoga is the union of these three components, where one senses beyond normal capacity, feels on a deep emotional level, and responds in a way that transcends typical action. This culmination represents the accurate perception, personal satisfaction, and benevolence towards others that marks both individual and universal progress. Remembering God's name, as inspired by a guru, can help achieve this stage of yoga.
This Is Dharma Dr. Shriniwas Janardan Kashalikardilipkdas
DHARMA represents a transcendent, all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful superconscious phenomenon that unites and harmonizes the universe, knowledge, realization, and intellectual, emotional, instinctual, and physical behavior of all people and living beings, leading to cosmic consciousness. It is not a religion or science, but encompasses both, incorporating all religions, regions, and inhabitants of the universe. When more people live according to DHARMA's principles of individual and universal blossoming, from birth to death, DHARMA prevails over ADHARMA in the world.
Value Education & Namasmaran Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
The document discusses the idea of value-based education and some issues with its implementation. It notes that (1) societal and global values outside of any education system still influence students and educators, and (2) celebrities and media hype shape popular values focused on individualism and superficiality. It also points out that (3) the value systems that influence legal frameworks and (4) the resulting laws and legal systems then shape common beliefs and interactions. The document argues that effectively teaching values requires (5) reconnecting with our "true self" through practices like namasmarnan meditation to rise above individualism, and (6) without such practices, arbitrarily teaching values becomes ineffective. It concludes by suggesting readers (7)
Yoga The Connection Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
Yoga is conceived in many ways and is a connection between one's global perspective, thoughts, emotions, and actions in every sphere of life. It also connects metabolic, endocrine, autonomic, and central nervous system activities as well as the right and left cerebral cortex. This yoga can be achieved through NAMASMARAN, as one can verify.
Yoga Karma And Namasmaran Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
Nishkama karma, or action without attachment to results, is a concept in the Bhagavad Gita. While it seems impossible to act without thinking of results, subtle actions like thinking and feelings cannot be defined by their physical causes and effects. As actions evolve, they become less crude and more cosmic in nature, with results that cannot be quantified. The highest form of action is namasmāran, or remembering God, as it merges subjectivity and objectivity such that ownership of actions and results ceases. Namasmāran is widely practiced in religions and can help emancipate oneself and others.

Why Holistic Medicine Dr Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
The document discusses why holistic medicine is important. It notes that people have experienced the benefits of treatments like yoga, Ayurveda, and allopathy. More importantly, it is realized that different modalities of treatment, even those not considered formal treatments like music and clothing, work together in complementary and synergistic ways. Since the overall purpose of medicine is to promote holistic health, eradicate disease, and reduce misery, all skills and knowledge from various fields must be combined to achieve this goal.
The document describes the author's fond childhood memories of visiting the town of Walaval, including traveling there in a hired van, the narrow red brick roads lined with small shops and houses with tile roofs, and the centuries-old Laxmi-Narayan temple by a lake. As a child, the author had beliefs shaped by their family deity Dev Narayan but later encountered Marxist analysis of society, which caused their beliefs to drift. However, the author now sees value in the concept of family deities as an important part of developing cosmic consciousness over time.

Unconditoned Happiness Dr. Shriniwas K Ashalikardilipkdas
The document discusses the state of unconditioned happiness exemplified by saints. This state is one of equanimity amid disturbing situations, as praised in the Bhagavad Gita. It is not a state of depression, surrender, or indifference, but rather a "videhi awasthaa" state of consciousness beyond one's physical, physiological, and psychological perceptions. In this state, one appears unaffected by situations but can still interact and manifest wisdom in various subtle forms, including through scriptures or actions. The unconditioned happiness of this evolved state of consciousness is infinite and subtle, not a result of indolence or ignorance.
Total Stress Management Guide For Nurses Dr Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
This document provides a guide to total stress management for nurses working with critically ill patients. It also discusses assessing and strengthening one's spiritual, intellectual, and emotional health through various practices like specific pranayamas, autosuggestions, and maintaining good physical health.
This document discusses the importance of holistic perspectives and activities that lead to individual and universal blossoming. It recommends that realizing universal unity and harmony can be achieved through the simple practice of NAMASMARAN (chanting names of God). It also stresses the top priority of training children and adults in first aid, nursing, home remedies, crafts, sports, and everything related to physical and mental fitness to empower individuals and achieve prosperity and profundity.
1. The document outlines 10 steps for becoming a successful doctor, including accepting, loving, and respecting patients unconditionally; recognizing the healing power within patients; and considering how educational policies impact health.
2. It provides several examples of doctors interacting with patients in different ways - either in a harsh, disrespectful manner or with compassion and understanding.
3. The document emphasizes the importance of not just treating physical ailments but also addressing psychological and social factors that impact health and well-being.
The document discusses the core of sex and its evolution. It notes that the attraction between males and females is universal and aims for reproduction and rearing of offspring in animals. In human beings, sexual attraction becomes associated with romance, commitment, and appreciation of responsible sexual activities between partners. At the core of sex is finding the core of one's partner, which is a difficult but worthwhile goal that can transcend physical considerations and culminate in a super-romance aiming for global welfare.
Temples have become associated with traffic jams, dirtiness, beggars, criminal activities, and corrupt management. This has led people to doubt the beneficial aspects of temples and see them as places of escapism cut off from real-world challenges. Both superstition and criticism of temples has spread as a result. Most temples have become economically dependent on government support and donations without proper oversight. Devotional activities are now a means for political gain and extortion. This situation occurred because original temple concepts have been replaced by individualistic and petty considerations in the current era. However, regular prayer and remembrance of God's name through Namasmaran can help rectify this by rejuvenating and re
The Common Root Of Science, Philosophy And Behaviour Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
Superliving is the common root and culmination of science, philosophy and behavior. While science, philosophy and behavior appear different, they are all flowers from the same tree of reality within us. Reaching the common root of these through practices like NAMASMARAN allows one to experience their oneness and enjoy life more fully, which is the essence of superliving.
1. The document provides protective measures to prevent the spread of H1N1 flu, including daily practices like chanting names of God, drinking water, consuming herbs, yoga, and maintaining personal hygiene.
2. It recommends consuming herbs like neem, tulsi, bel, chyavanprash, and drinks with turmeric, ginger and honey to boost immunity.
3. Additional tips include taking vitamins, washing hands frequently, avoiding crowds, and consuming aloe vera and guduchi juice.
Beliefs of some kind are a natural human frailty that help provide emotional solace and determine behavior. While scientific theories are also a type of belief, they are based on observations of linear progress in nature and cannot be truly verified. To overcome prejudices from superstitions requires living beyond the realm of the senses, which self-realization through practices like NAMASMARAN can potentially achieve by empowering one without dependence on dogmas.
Super Success & Superliving Dr. Shriniwas Kshalikardilipkdas
Success is defined differently depending on the stage of life and occupation. For a newborn, success is taking their first breath. For a toddler, it is getting a toy from their mother. For an athlete, success is winning an Olympic medal, while for a scientist it is receiving a Nobel Prize. However, true super success is facilitating the fullest potential of all people by sharing spiritual and material treasures with billions.
Study Of Human Physiology Dr Shriniwas Kashalikardilipkdas
This document outlines 14 steps for studying human physiology, beginning from informal observation starting at conception through to professional academic study. Key aspects of the study include observing signs and symptoms in patients; correlating observations from daily life with structural and functional abnormalities; applying principles of physics and chemistry to explain interactions in the human body; and using technology like microscopes and various medical imaging and measurement techniques to further understanding. Gene therapy can be broadly defined as the transfer of genetic material to cure a disease or at least to improve the clinical status of a patient.
One of the basic concepts of gene therapy is to transform viruses into genetic shuttles, which will deliver the gene of interest into the target cells.
Safe methods have been devised to do this, using several viral and non-viral vectors.
In the future, this technique may allow doctors to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient's cells instead of using drugs or surgery.
The biggest hurdle faced by medical research in gene therapy is the availability of effective gene-carrying vectors that meet all of the following criteria:
Protection of transgene or genetic cargo from degradative action of systemic and endonucleases,
Delivery of genetic material to the target site, i.e., either cell cytoplasm or nucleus,
Low potential of triggering unwanted immune responses or genotoxicity,
Economical and feasible availability for patients .
Viruses are naturally evolved vehicles that efficiently transfer their genes into host cells.
Choice of viral vector is dependent on gene transfer efficiency, capacity to carry foreign genes, toxicity, stability, immune responses towards viral antigens and potential viral recombination.
There are a wide variety of vectors used to deliver DNA or oligo nucleotides into mammalian cells, either in vitro or in vivo.
The most common vector system based on retroviruses, adenoviruses, herpes simplex viruses, adeno associated viruses.
5-hydroxytryptamine or 5-HT or Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that serves a range of roles in the human body. It is sometimes referred to as the happy chemical since it promotes overall well-being and happiness.
It is mostly found in the brain, intestines, and blood platelets.
5-HT is utilised to transport messages between nerve cells, is known to be involved in smooth muscle contraction, and adds to overall well-being and pleasure, among other benefits. 5-HT regulates the body's sleep-wake cycles and internal clock by acting as a precursor to melatonin.
It is hypothesised to regulate hunger, emotions, motor, cognitive, and autonomic processes.

GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS AND GASTRITIS
Osvaldo Bernardo Muchanga
Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
Among patients with gastritis and/or ulcers, one of the dilemmas is associated with the foods to consume in order to minimize the sensation of pain and discomfort.

Congestive Heart failure is caused by low cardiac output and high sympathetic discharge. Diuretics reduce preload, ACE inhibitors lower afterload, beta blockers reduce sympathetic activity, and digitalis has inotropic effects. Newer medications target vasodilation and myosin activation to improve heart efficiency while lowering energy requirements. Combination therapy, following an assessment of cardiac function and volume status, is the most effective strategy to heart failure care.
