Have you ever heard a story from one of the physicians here at UT Health, or even an employee, of
a time when a patient came in for a second opinion and didn't bring diagnostic images from the
previous office visit? Or that one of the researchers needs a specific lab record but the patient

We can start at the beginning. The corporeal archive database would be created through the
University of Texas student's coursework, or extra–curricular. Meaning, the labor in development
would be free. One of the goals in creation is to hold a large capacity of information. The system
would be paperless and convert any other outdated document to digital form as well. Once
established globally, all records ever created in the aspect of the body, from every association, would
be submitted to the global corporeal archives' maintaining organization. This organization will
automatically import the documents into the system, organizing them appropriately by the patient.
Every individual record would include a photo of each person. The documents in each record can be
information provided by the patient, including, but not limited to physician's notes. The papers will
contain a variety of information on a patient's health or body history. Even personal items such as
significant illnesses and medical conditions, lab findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Other
fact–based data including history of drug abuse or alcohol use, and smoking, also physical exams,
allergies, medications, and any adverse reactions. The paperwork would list dates, times, attending

Climate Analysis On Climate Archives
There is significant evidence from studies based on climate archives that the Earth's climate about
10 000 years ago was very different from the present climate; it has changed a lot since the last
glacial period which ended about 10 000– 12 000 years ago (Chappell, 1998). Hence, about 10 000
years ago the Earth was buried under ice sheets and it was much cooler than present temperatures

Corals were first discovered about 200 million years, however most have grown over the last 10 000
years. Therefore, corals are great climate archives to use in order to study the climate from the last
10 000 years. Corals also have a wide array of climatic history stored within them (Introduction:
Coral Reefs, 2015). They have a long lifetime and rapid growth which makes them ideal climate
archives for studying the past climate (Ocean Circulation and Climate Dynamics, 2015). Along with
the corals there is the foraminifera; also referred to as sea floor fossils. These sea floor fossils are
often found in sediment cores and can reveal a variety of things about the past climate through
ocean currents, temperature and oxygen ratios. Also these fossils are the most common source of
paleoceanographic proxies, making them easily available (Kucera, 2007). Hence, foraminifera or
sea floor fossils are an ideal climate archives for studying the past climate from about 10 000 years
ago alongside corals. Information about the past climate can not only help us understand our present
climate but can also help predict our future climate trends.

Digital Archive Analysis: Histories of the National Mall
Histories of the National Mall is a digital Public History project backed by the National
Endowment for the Humanities, sponsored by George Mason University. and developed by the
Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media. There is a search bar at the top and
underneath is a section entitled "discover." Under this heading there are links to maps,

Glacial ice is created through the annual deposition of snow that piles up in continuous sequences
due to vast plateaus (Bethan, 2014). There are 2 main ice sheets present on Earth today. The first one
is located in Greenland and dates up to 125,000 years ago while the other is the Antarctic ice sheet

Term Project – Archive Visit The archive I am visiting for this term project is the Local History &
Archives of the Hamilton Public Library located on the third floor of the Central Branch at 55 York
Boulevard in Hamilton, Ontario. Since 1914, Hamilton Public Library has been collecting and
preserving Hamilton 's history. The Local History & Archives collection consists of material such as
letters, photographs, manuscripts, diaries and other original records created by Hamilton and area
citizens. There are records of local businesses and organizations, family papers, government records
of the City of Hamilton and the County of Wentworth, military records, theatrical collections, music
collections, ephemera, etc. This archive visit took place on November 16th 2016.
According to their website the mandate of the Local History & Archives collection has five main
goals. The first is that the Local History & Archives collection exists to "collect and preserve
materials which illustrate the growth and development of Hamilton–Wentworth, both before and
after incorporation, or which pertain in whole or in part to activities within the geographic
boundaries of Hamilton–Wentworth" (HPL). The second goal is to arrange and describe these
materials according to "archival principles and make them accessible to the general public on a

The Discovery Of The Guatemalan Archives
The latter part of this course, we read Kristen Weld's book Paper Cadavers. This book captured the
importance of the discovery of the Guatemalan archives. An intense amount of work was put into
recovering approximately 80 million documents from the government after decades of internal
warfare. This reconstruction of public memory was extremely important for those involved in
recovering and sifting through the documents, the families and friends who lost people during the
civil war, to Guatemala and the discovery also held significance international (Weld). A few years
later in March of 2008 files were seized by the Colombian Armed Forced during a raid. These
archives belonged to the insurgent group called The Revolutionary Armed Forced of Colombia
People's Army or FARC. The files belonged personally to "Raul Reyes" (a leader of FARC) who
was killed during the raid along with 24 other insurgent members (Walser). This led to some
controversy about the files later on. The Colombian Armed Forces handed over the archives to
Interpol, so they could be decoded and analyzed. These two sets of documents are different
discoveries of public memory that impacted lives as public memory was reconstructed. They
exposed human rights violations through their (re)discovery and release to the public. The files

Nation Handling more than 11 million calls per year, NYC's 911 system is the largest in the nation.
Founded in 1968, it is operated by the New York City Police Department, the Fire Department of
NYC and the FDNY Emergency Medical Services, with the Office of Citywide Emergency
