What is a sample? Population? Sampling frame?
Solution
A sample is a set of items from a population used to study the statistical properties of the
population.
A population is the entire group of data the sample intends to generalize. It is the entire group of
data from which the sample is drawn.
The sampling frame is the list of items forming a population from which a sample is taken.
