Telerik conducted a study of 1,862 .NET developers, with 1,017 responding fully. The study found that while traditional Windows Forms are still used, web development is becoming increasingly important, especially for cross-platform apps. 30% focused on Windows desktop apps while 49% focused on web. For web, 70% favored Angular for JavaScript and 61% used plain CSS. However, only 14% had plans for newer platforms like HoloLens or IoT, though 27% would develop for them if time allowed.
