Artists can submit songs to WHAAAT for funding. WHAAAT will conclude a publishing contract that transfers publishing rights. WHAAAT sets a funding target and campaign start date for fans and investors to invest in the songs. If funding is achieved, the amount minus a 20% fee is paid to artists upon song release. Artists gain funding without risk or cost, while fans and investors support artists and participate in song success. WHAAAT's vision is to connect talented musicians with funding through a win-win-win system.

2. How to sUBMIT?
You can submit a song bundle to WHAAAT as an author of a song, manager or publisher’s representative. Submissions of all
genres (except classical music) are allowed and welcome. Songs can be submitted to WHAAAT before and after release.
The WHAAAT jury is continuously examining the submissions. Please give us some time to give you feedback on your
submission.
The decision-making principle of the jury is based on fairness towards all parties involved.This means that the jury
evaluates the earn-back opportunity of the funding sum within the contract period with the submitted song bundle and the
rights transferred from it.
WHAAAT concludes a single-title publishing contract with all the authors involved in the song bundle.The publishing rights
of these songs are transferred to WHAAAT. Now we can become active for you.
The funding target and start date of the campaign are set. Now fans and investors can invest in your songs and participate in
the later success of this bundle.
The financing target is achieved.The funding amount (ded. the fee) will be paid out to the authors with the release of the
songs. Now you can work with the additional budget. No strings attached!

Investors acquire shares of the song

The transaction fee is 5% of the total

Over the contractual period, investors
receive pro rata annual distributions of
the royalties which are received by
WHAAAT from the collecting societies.
