Commemorates
The Birth Of Siddhartha,
His Enlightenment
And The Parinibbana
Of The Buddha
卫塞节同一日纪念释迦牟尼佛的诞生、
成道与涅盘。

Greed will lead
us all to Dukkha.
May we practice
lots of Dana.
由贪欲而生烦恼，
愿我们修习布施。

4. 4
Selfishness will lead to unhappiness.
May we all be helpful and show kindness.
自私自利引起苦恼不快，
愿我们仁慈并乐于助人。

5. 5
Immorality will bring suffering.
May we be pure in every dealing.
破戒和非法引生痛苦，
愿我们在各方面清净。

6. 6
Impure thoughts, speech and deeds
bring misery.
May we observe our Precepts
mindfully.
身语意的不净 带来痛苦，
愿我们持戒并正念摄心。

The danger of Attachment is truly great.
May we realize this before it is too late.
执着祸患大，
趁早了知它。

8. 8
Ego and clinging to the Self cause much Dis-ease.
May we realize Non-Self so that Dukkha can cease.
自我与身见引发诸心的不适，
愿我们遍知无我灭尽诸恼苦。

Ignorance and Craving cause Dukkha.
May we see things as they truly are.
因无明与贪欲而有忧悲恼苦。
愿我们有知有见看清诸真相。

10. 10
Mental defilements obstruct the Path to Wisdom.
May we walk The Middle Way to Enlightenment.
心的诸漏是智慧道路的障碍，
愿我们修习中道证道得解脱。

Sloth and Torpor will hinder spiritual progress.
May we strive energetically for success.
昏沉睡眠妨碍心灵的增上，
愿我们勇猛精进修行有成。

12. 12
Nibbana cannot be reached without perseverance.
May we strive on diligently for deliverance.
缺乏毅力不能到达涅盘，
愿我们勇猛精进求解脱。

13. 13
To be Enlightened needs patience or Khanti.
May we strive on in the Dhamma patiently.
成为觉者需要耐心或忍辱
愿我们 勇猛精进耐心修学。

Patience and understanding are important.
May we bear with pain and problems
as we learn.
耐心与了解佛法的真义很重要，
愿我们承受修学时的一切苦痛。

Truth is most powerful and supreme.
May we be honest in our living.
真理是无上并具有无比力量，
愿我们坦诚地生活在真理中。

Integrity is spiritually good.
May we never swerve from the Path of Truth.

on the Path to Nibbanic Bliss.
修心修行必须具备有坚持不懈的心，
愿我们在圣道勤修灭尽苦获寂静乐。

We need to cultivate
Loving-Kindness
or Metta.
May all beings be
free from suffering
or Dukkha.
我们需要修习慈爱心，
愿一切众生脱离苦痛。

Metta brings us benefits most certainly.
May we be compassionate, kind and friendly.
慈爱肯定带来大果报，
愿我们悲悯、仁慈、友好。

Equanimity brings true mental peace.
May our mind be balanced and at ease.
舍无量心会带来寂静，
愿我们的心平衡自在。

We need to develop tranquility.
May we live most mindfully and wisely.
我们需要多修习身心宁静，
将正念与智慧用在生活中。
