Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity •WIOA is a federally funded program administered by Illinois Department of Commerce and EconomicOpportunity (Dept. of Commerce) • WIOA is a federally funded program, paid for through your tax dollars • WIOA provides Rapid Response services , which includes transitional services to dislocated workers (persons laid off through no fault of their own) • Rapid ResponseTeam is made up of staff from multiple agencies including Dept. of Commerce, LocalWorkforce Area, and the Illinois Department of Employment Services • Services are provided at American Job Centers Access services anywhere in the United States Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act

To supportaffected workers who are facing an employment layoff with employment services, programs, and resources that will prepare and support you in your re-employment efforts, including an opportunity to train/re-train in sector & demand driven occupational training. Connect you to the organizations that can help you with your specific needs.
- 6. Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance Cover the counties of: Cass, Christian, Logan (located at Heartland CC campus in Lincoln), Menard and Sangamon. Receive funding from the Illinois Department of Commerce and EconomicOpportunity. Funding originates with the Federal Department of Labor as a result of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This funding allows LLWA to offer training/education in sector & demand driven occupations. Well-trained and knowledgeable staff offers job search and training services.

Use of Computers, Internet, Printers and more at no cost. Workforce and Job Readiness Workshops Professional Resume Writing Assistance Occupational Training Opportunities Train in Demand Sector driven occupations *Healthcare *IT *Manufacturing *Transportation & Logistics *Hospitality, Retail *Business & Professional Services *Construction Employment & Career Success Business Service Teams that make connections to employers and JOBS Mock Interview Preparation Hire First or On-The-Job Training Incentive programs
- 8. Occupational Training Services Funds availablefor up to two years of training (that leads to full- time job placement at the end of training). Funds are available for up to $8,000.00 in tuition costs per year. Funding for REQUIRED books, fees, uniforms, tools in addition to tuition costs. Childcare assistance and transportation assistance may also be approved. Approved training programs (list of approved programs can be viewed at https://worknet20.org/wioa-training- programs/.
