2. What is Young Scholar’s Program?
 The Cooke Young Scholars Program is a selective 5-year, pre-college
scholarship for high-performing 7th grade students with financial need. It
provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial
support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and
other learning enrichment opportunities.

3. Key Highlights
 These meetings are for working on the application together so that you
will have a better chance of getting into the program
 We will be meeting once a week on THURSDAYS from 3:30-4:30
 Makeup days will be on Fridays 3:30-4:30
 The application is due on March 15th but our goal is to turn it in on March
8th
 Even if you do not get accepted into the program this is a great learning
experience!!

 4 short answer and 1 Essay Question
 Parent/Guardian Form(s):
 Standardized Test Scores:
 6th and 7th Grade Report cards (No C’s!)
 2 letters of Recommendation
