The 6.3 magnitude New Zealand earthquake killed 147 people and 200 more missing. Authorities fear that more people might be dead as several buildings in Christchurch City collapsed. Christchurch is New Zealand's 2nd largest city. Aftershocks made everything worst. After rescue missions, no survivors at the collapsed site were found. This 2011 New Zealand earthquake caused 32 streets and 13 bridges to close. The impact on the economy is so huge because more and more people are not able to work and businesses are losing several worker time. Not to mention, the damage on the city’s infrastructure is massive.
