• I am from Minnesota in the United
States.
• My husband, Peter Lee, is the Middle
School Principal.
• We have 3 children. Joshua-first year
at St. Olaf College in MN, Serena in
10th grade and Maren in 7th grade here
at TAISM.
• This is our 10th year living in Oman and
teaching at TAISM.
• I love to travel, read, run, do crafty
stuff, camp and play with kids.
4. Mrs. Dora Kwarteng
• Six years as an Early Childhood and Grade 1
assistant at TAISM.
• Working on her Birth through K Bachelor’s degree
• Home country is Ghana and the U.S.
• Married, has 3 grown daughters
• In her free time, she likes to read, exercise,
cook, sew, travel, sing and listen music.

• Talk about the events of the day.
• Ensure that your child has a wide range of
experiences to talk and write about.
• Read to your child every day.
• Play games with your child.
• Make sure your child eats breakfast and
gets enough sleep (approximately 10 hours
for a 5-6 year old).
