This document provides the homework assignments for 5th grade students from September 8th to September 12th. The subjects covered are reading, math, writing, social studies, science/discovery center, Spanish, and independent reading. For reading, students are assigned to continue reading their genre books and update their reading logs. In math, the focuses are on prime numbers, square numbers, and unsquaring numbers, with assignments from workbooks and worksheets. Writing has a focus on descriptive writing and sentences. Social studies begins a government study guide. Independent reading is required nightly to complete a reading log.

* Read 400 or more pages = 4
* 350-399 = 3
* 250- 349 = 2
* below 250 = 1
