1. Of the advertisements that you saw on your way here today, which caught
your attention most?
The advertisements of the bus stop caught my attention most,
because they are eye catching with a lot of suggestive pictures and
messages.
2. What elements of an advertisement appeal to you: image, color,
language, design or humor?
The elements that appeal to me in an advertisement are the image
and color, although the humor because I remember it easily.
b. Answer these questions about the advertisements
1. What products or services are these advertisements trying to sell?
These advertisements are trying to sell manufacture products, like
computers and television that are products with technological
components or shoes that are products of personal use.
2. What age group and socioeconomic group are they aimed at?
These advertisements are aimed to a group of population with high
purchasing power in the case of the T.V. and computer ads. For the
shoes advertisement, I think it’s aimed to any socioeconomic group.
3. How effective do you find the advertisements?
Personally, I think that the advertisements aren’t sufficiently eye-
catching or suggestive for me.
c. Discuss other advertisements that you have seen recently that caught
your attention.
Davivienda’s advertisements in 2010 Soccer World Cup caught my attention,
because they are suggestive, colors, funny and describe in a singular but perfect
form the financial products of the bank.
2. d. Write an advertisement for a product or service. Decide on your target
market and how to make your product sound attractive.

1. Choose a business that interest you
The product that we want to use and compare is house business o real state
selling.
2. Find as much general information as you can about franchising and, in
particular, about the brand that you are interested in.
The features of our chosen products are the number of rooms, the kitchen
services and bathrooms, the location, etc.
3. Establish what you need to set up the business.
Find a house in a interesting neighborhood, with a good price allows to develop
the peoples life.
4. Find out what the franchiser actually offers.
Sometimes it’s possible to offer these products on line, because is faster to find,
but is necessary see the place by themselves.
5. Establish the cost of setting up the franchise.
The price is the same, depends, most of all of the place, the services, the
stratum, the neighborhood, the enter access roads, etc.
