Some of us host parties and invite relatives and friends over while others go to the church to celebrate this special day. Like this American holiday, the Chinese people also have their own new year, but their new year could be on different date every year according to their lunar calendar. Have you ever seen the Chinese celebrating their new year with a long lion, red envelopes, and fireworks? Have you seen the Chinese wearing their traditional gowns on their new year? What are some of the things that you know about their celebration? How is it similar and different from the New Year that we celebrate? Now, are you ready to find out more about Chinese New Year? Task: You’re now party planners. You are going to plan a party to celebrate Chinese New Year. But before you start planning, you need to find out more about Chinese New Year.
