Introduction to World Wide Web World Wide Web is an information medium which the users can read and write over the internet
World Wide Web is a service that operates over Internet just like e-mail, messengers, etc.,
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (Http) is the protocol used for sharing the information in the internet
Information is displayed in form of web pages
Browser is used to show the information to the user
Web 1.0 At the earlier stages of World Wide Web, web pages gave only static information
Users can just view the information.
HTML (Hypertext mark up language) was used to create the static pages
Javascript, Dynamic Html where added to give some dynamic content
Need for Change ? Pages created using the HTML did not provide much user interaction.
Users used the WWW just to view the information during Web 1.0 era
Users needed the WWW to be more user interactive and provide instant changes just like there desktop applications
