This document provides a checklist for students to record evidence of weathering and erosion they observe during a rock safari. The checklist includes signs of weathering to look for such as bricks spalling, uneven steps, mosses and lichens growing, fading colors, peeling paint, rotting wood, slipping roof tiles, and both natural and man-made damage to buildings and structures. Students are instructed to note the type of weathering or erosion they observe and the location where they saw each sign.
