Where old-fashioned customer service meets
21st century accounts receivable expertise.

Visit www.clientsarm.com for more information on how to place an account for collections.
First Party vs.Third Party Collection Agencies
 First-party agencies are often subsidiaries of the original company the debt is owed to. First-party collectors
work as an A.R.M. of that company calling on behalf of the company. First-party agencies perform back office
services charged on a transactional fee based on the service monthly, such as billing, customer service, soft
collection calls and collection letters. Typically outsourced first-party services are much cheaper than hiring
on-site employees and we have director level experience. First-party collectors are not regulated by the same
agencies as third party collectors, hence giving first-party collectors more room to collect the debt.
 Third-party agencies are separate companies contracted by a company to collect debts on their behalf for a
contingency fee. Third-party agencies, or “collection agencies”, call as the collection agency’s business name
on behalf of the creditor. Third-party is regulated under the CFPB and other agencies. Collection agencies
can report the debtor to the credit bureaus and send accounts to their legal departments for legal action.
