 A nonprofit organization based in
Washington, D.C., the Capital Club has
supported a variety of charitable causes
and organizations since its establishment in
1980. Recognized as a preeminent social
organization, the club is well known for
signature events such as the Sinatra Soirée.
On July 17, 2014, the Capital Club
presented its annual summer celebration
for the 22nd consecutive year.
 Held at the National Building Museum, the
22nd Annual Sinatra Soirée brought
together prominent members of the
Washington, D.C., community for a night of
cocktails and dancing. Ladies arrived in
cocktail attire, while men dressed to suit the
theme, “Summer Ahoy.” Attendees
included representatives from Sotheby's
International Realty, Deloitte, Microsoft, the
American Psychological Association, and
the Washington Post.
 Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed
a premium open bar, appetizers, and
desserts, and they took to the dance
floor for the exciting big-band sounds of
the Radio King Orchestra. Like all Capital
Club events, the Sinatra Soirée benefits
both local and national charities.
Proceeds from the 2014 event primarily
supported the University of the South’s
Trey Lefler Memorial Scholarship Fund.
