A self-centered life is characterized by self, pride, anger,
crisis and grief. We love ourselves more than how we love
others. Even if we try to love others, everything is
centered around us. Our relationship with others is often
              base on personal achievements.

Proverbs 13:10 By pride comes nothing but strife, But
           with the well-advised is wisdom.
To overcome self-centeredness is to overcome bitterness in
our hearts. James 3:14-16, But if you have bitter envy and self-
seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This
wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual,
demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and
every evil thing are there.
Self-Centeredness is the enemy of love, kindness
  and forgiveness.

Self-Centeredness is the root of spiritual, physical
and emotional devastations in our lives.

Our Self-Centeredness will change if our personal
love relationship with Jesus reaches beyond
ourselves. 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long and is
kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not
puffed up;
Pride is the driving force behind Self-Centeredness..
However, where there is Love, there is Mercy.

The love of Jesus in us, will sanctify our
self-centeredness and help us to give
    birth to mercy and grace.

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us
and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God
 for a sweet-smelling aroma.
SELF-CENTEREDNESS: No one has ever fully conquered
self, except Jesus. In fact no normal person can deal with self-
centeredness on a conscious level without having a
relationship with Jesus and His love to guide us.

Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all
men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed
hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who
gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and
purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Overcoming self-centeredness is to live a life fully
conscious of Jesus love in us and through us, which will
allow us to be non-judgmental, walk in love, and defend
others rather than we defending ourselves.
Matthew 5:44 -45"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless
those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray
for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, "that you
may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun
rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and
on the unjust.
It’s time to confront our wrong selfish motives. Don’t
be ignorant, immature and self-centered. We need to
concentrate more on how we can bless others and not
how much blessing we can receive.

Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by
so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
John 14:17-18 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive,
because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for
He dwells with you and will be in you.
"I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
Religious people are always concerned about what others
might say about them. Our goal is to be more concerned
about what Jesus says about us.

James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God
resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." 7 Therefore
submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
We need to receive Jesus unconditional love in our hearts today,
which will revolutionized our entire life above self-centeredness.
Our love relationship with Jesus, will guard us from all evil in the
              world today, due to self-centeredness.

Philippians 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of
the mutilation! And Revelation 22:15 But outside are dogs and
sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and
whoever loves and practices a lie.
Jesus is interested in our relationship with Him. Not what we
can do for Him. A self-centered persons primary focus is on
works, good deeds, and doing something to satisfy our
consciences, without having a relationships with Jesus.

John 15:4 "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which
was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
