However, survey methods also have disadvantages such as respondents potentially providing inaccurate, dishonest, or uncomfortable answers due to a lack of memory or boredom. Technology has significantly impacted data collection methods over time. Early data collection was labor intensive and error-prone using paper surveys, but computer-based surveys now allow for broad, low-cost, and fast collection and analysis of data without mistakes.
