To begin with I would like to share a personal story of mine that I think many of you can relate to Problem I recently spent 5 months in Mexico as an exchange student which proved to be one of the best trips of my life. But before going there I had to solve a few problems. I had to look for someone to rent out my home. But who would rent it out to? Who would be reliable? What about a home in Mexico? Where should the house be located? How much would I need to pay? At the end I found a friend to rent out my home and found a place in Mexico too, but ended up using a lot of time and money doing so. With my story I wanted to point out the problem of medium term housing, which we define as a 1-12 months period.
