Paul Gruhn Faculty-Research-Day Student-Poster Program EvalutionPaul Gruhn
On March 24, 2017, I submit this poster at the University of Bridgeport, Faculty Research Day poster presentations. This is a summary of a program evaluation project I completed in Dr. Linda Paslov's EDLD 808 Program Evaluation Course.
This presentation was given at the KSAALT Al Khobar Chapter Mini Conference in December 2015. It aims to give EFL teachers, who know they must embrace technology, but who are reluctant, a starter on how they can use technology in the classroom. The presentation is by no means exhaustive. You may think that you have better tools, in which case feel free to do another presentation, I will watch with interest! Also it does not take into account any software issues that may have developed since it was given. If I have time, I may write a sequel, so . . . . Watch this space!

Campus Technology Fall Forum 2014: Best Practices for Designing Online and Bl...Keitaro Matsuoka
In this presentation, I will share what I learned from designing the online and blended courses, how the class works, what ingredients are needed for a successful course, recommended digital tools (live demo!), best practices (how do you foster presence?), and the feedback I have received. Most importantly, I will demonstrate how fun all this is!
This one hour course will put participants in a position where they can experience first-hand how a CLIL lesson works, using technology as a tool to promote authenticity and engagement in the content.

Embracing Digital Creation in the AP ClassroomNicoleGraham48
The majority of middle and high school classrooms have or are shifting to a 1:1 or BYOD model. Due to this shift, teachers need to become more flexible in assignments and projects they are having students complete. We will focus on having students using digital tools to create alternative project-based assignments such as infographics, podcasts, videos, digital animations. Teachers will learn how to put a spin on current assignments and projects.
Speakers:
Dr Clive P L Young, advisory team leader digital education, information services division, UCL
Nataša Perović, digital education adviser, UCL
ABC is an effective and engaging hands-on workshop that has now been trialled with great success over a range of programmes.
In just 90 minutes, using rapid prototyping, teams work together to create a visual ‘storyboard’ outlining the type and sequence of learning activities and highlight assessment and feedback opportunities.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.
