My parents taught me important life lessons like teamwork, riding a bike, playing games, having strong morals and showing compassion. As a child, some saw their parents as caretakers and disciplinarians, but they have always been role models. Now as adults, parents are seen more as advisors, although they still provide help with homework and reading. Parents and children often have close relationships where they play together as kids and discuss everything as adults. For many families, parents and children enjoy doing activities together.
