Mr. Ilia Gogichaishvili, Chairman of the ICC Georgia Banking Com-
mission participated in the high profile trade finance conference
in Beijing organized by ICC China on 23-24 November, 2014, which
brought together leading trade finance bankers and practitioners
to address the current challenges and opportunities facing the in-
dustry.

were:

ground of big information era
- Judicial interpretation rules on independent
guarantees in China
- FTA Financial Policy Revolution Analysis
Mr. Ilia Gogichaishvili met the leaders of ICC
China and discussed the areas of future coop-
eration between the two ICC National Com-
mittees. According to Mr. Gogichaishvili: “New
Silk Road” project that Chinese and Georgian
governments are currently working on is ex-
pected to bring greater cooperation in trade and
economic development between two nations.
Establishing mutually beneficial cooperation
between ICC Georgia and ICC China is vital in
strengthening economic ties between two coun-
tries to support trade and development”.
It was mutually agreed that ICC China will send
a business delegation to Georgia to participate
at an advanced trade finance workshop to be
organized by ICC Georgia in cooperation with
EBRD in Tbilisi, Georgia during May, 2015.
