1. IIOM, was invited to Sign the International Federation of
Sourcing Service Association
Co-hosted by Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, China Council for the
Promotion of International Trade and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, the 5th China
International Service Outsourcing Cooperation Conference was held in Nanjing, China on 19
June.
Both Li Xueyong, the governor of Jiangsu province and Yang Weize, standing Committee
of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, Secretary Municipal Committee of Nanjing attended to
the opening ceremony. Assistant minister Chou Hong, Ministry of Commerce of People’s
Republic of China, Vice-chairman Zhang Wei of China Council for the Promotion of
International Trade, director of ITC -Anders • Erin, vice-governor Zhang Weiguo made
speeches at the ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Mao Weiming, the
Secretary-General of the provincial government, and Li Jianye, the mayor of Nanjing also
attended the opening ceremony.
As the theme to seize the industry transformation and co-create the future of
outsourcing, this conference widely invited the service outsourcing professionals to have a
discussion on the opportunities and development trends of China’s service outsourcing
industry under the background of upgrading the international service outsourcing industry
chain. All the participants shared their opinions and experience about how to renovate the
development mode of service outsourcing, accelerate the industry improvement and advance
the adjustments of the economic structures.
An International federation of sourcing service associations was officially established
after the signing ceremony for federation cooperation memorandum. The federation was
signed by 8 organizations, including IIOM and The United States International Service
Outsourcing Managers Association. This federation aims to strengthen the exchanges and

2. cooperation between overseas and Chinese service outsourcing sectors and share new
chances of service outsourcing development by carrying out all-round strategic cooperation
on the respects of information exchanges, market expanding and projects cooperation.
