4 Things to learn as we look at the story of Gideon:
1. Gideon had the Promise of God’s Presence
2. Gideon saw the Performance of God’s Plan
3. Gideon saw the Provision of God’s Power
4. Gideon saw the Proof of God’s Possibilities
The Bible not only gives us portraits of God’s grace, as with the healing of Naaman, but it also gives us striking, clear, and up-front portraits of man’s sinfulness and perversion. It’s never a pretty picture, but it is a necessary one if we are to see our sickness and helplessness and turn in repentance to the grace of God. These portraits in Scripture serve as instructions and warnings to turn us to God and a life of godliness and away from a life of ungodliness
Journey Through the Bible: Jeremiah - The Rejected ProphetResurrection Church
Jeremiah was called by God to tell the people of Jerusalem that the city and the Temple would be destroyed by the Babylonians and the people taken into exile. All this was to happen because of the nations continued rebellion against God. At first the people laughed at him but when the prophecies started coming true they turned against him and tried to kill the messenger.

A325 hypocrites The door of heaven, I am the door of the sheep, humblefranktsao4
What kind of person can trigger god anger the most. It is not the traitor, nor is the evil doer of the world, but hypocrite. Especially, the hypocrite in the church, since they could bring people that should be in heaven to hell, that caused the redeeming blood of Jesus flow in vain and that destroyed GOD eternal plan. God can use bad people like Khoisan because they are obviously bad. So, we have to be vigilant to walk in the true. Not as a hypocrite that have no difference to the worldly people. Otherwise, we will meet GOD raging of fire.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
