Second Floor
The easiest way to get to the second floor stacks is to take the central staircase or the elevators near the
Media stacks beyond the connector. The second floor has stacks A-PL, library instruction classroom (Room
242), Office of Diversity and Equity (Rooms 237- 240) group study rooms (232, 233, 235 & 236), reading
rooms on the right and left of the corridor leading to the Faculty Development Center, Information and
Library Science Department, Center of Excellence on Autism Spectrum Disorders, and classrooms 202-207.
Elevators in the second floor stack area
As you get off the elevator on the second floor or enter through the double doors from the staircase, this is the what you will see. Books
that can be checked out are shelved on the second and third floors of the library. The second floor has books with call numbers A-PL.
Group study rooms 232 and 233 are on the left; rest rooms and a water fountain can be found about half way down the stacks on the
left. A quick-look up kiosk for searching the library’s catalog and databases is conveniently located in this stack area. 3 additional
computers are at the back. Study Rooms 235 & 236 and the Office of Equity and Diversity are on the right.
If you are looking for a quiet study space, this is the floor!

floor stacks across from the elevators and towards the Adanti Student Center side are the A’s. Restrooms and a water
fountain are on the same location on every floor.

Diversity and Equity is at the far back on the left. Library Instruction Classroom (242) is adjacent to Room 241.

When you get off the elevator, turn right and follow the library classroom sign on the stacks to get to Room 242.

Directly across from the second floor elevators is Study Room 233. Room 232 is on the other side of
Room 232 (at the back). The second floor reading rooms are on either side of the central stair case.
Study Room 232 is right behind Study Room 233. If you take central stairs, turn left. If you take the
elevators, proceed straight past the stacks till you see the room on the left before you get to the water
fountain and the restrooms.
