The document outlines the efforts of Dhara Sansthan in Viramgam, Gujarat, to improve the social sector by providing accessible medical services and health awareness to local villagers. 2. Introduction:-
Social sector is one of the important sectors in the economy because it improves
quality of human life as well as help to stimulate the economic development. It is
not only improve quality but also make strong, healthy and give power to produce
knowledge. Social sector includes such as primary education, public health,
housing, drinking water and sanitation etc.
Human resources and its contribution to growth are therefore necessary at every
stage of development. It is therefore, apparent that it is the quality of the people in
the terms of their health and education that constitutes the very important sub-sectors
of a modern economy popularly termed as the social infrastructure.

3. Objective:
To provide medical service and consultation to the
villagers at their doorstep;
To provide quality medicines, vitamins, antibiotics, etc…
To increase awareness of basic hygiene and preventative
health care;
To determine the percentage of most common diseases
among the villagers and assess their most pressing
medical needs;

4. Status of OPD:- (14th Aug -2013 to 31 March, 2014)
During this period total number of Camps were held 544 (From 14 Aug-13th to 31th
March, 2014) covering around 23 pipeline villages across CAIRN operational area.
The MHV is running in Viramgam,Mandal –Dist:Ahmedabad and Patadi Block of
Surendranagar District on weekly basis. In the month of December we have high
frequency of patient just because of effective treatment, high range of quality
medicine and quality service delivery along with people satisfaction.
