1. 0:00 – 0:30 – The video will start
off with just darkness then the
character will appear kicking an
empty can where a Close up shot
will be used of her foot kicking
the can and a Long shot of the can
moving , then when she is walking
through a tunnel, the shot will be
a Long shot of the character
walking, and then it will cut to
Low angle/Close up of her feet
moving up towards her face turning
the shot in a medium shot of her .
Then a Close up of her face which
then the cuts to her then taking a
drink out of a can/bottle of some
sort of alcohol. Another character
will then be seen walking through
the tunnel area walking past the
main character. This being a Long
shot of then two characters, when
the main character grabs onto the
other characters arm, to steady
herself, the shot used will yet
again be a Close up of the main
characters hand grabbing the other
characters arm, and then it will
cut to a Medium shot of the two
characters then the second
character pushes the main character
off and she falls to the ground
while the other character carries
on walking and eventually
disappears, this will be a long
shot . A close up of the character
on the floor picking up her drink
after it has fell and spilt for the
first 30 seconds.
The track she’s lost control by
Joy Division starts off with
music, a drumming sort of sound
at the beginning which then the
guitar and bass and brought into
the beginning of the song.
About 24 seconds into the song
thethe singer starts off by
singing the lyric “Confusion in
her eyes, it says it all she’s
lost control” which is then
followed on by “ And she’s
clinging to the nearest
passerby, she’s lost control”.

2. 0:30 – 1:00 – After this then main
character is seen in walking
through a busy town at night with
people walking past staring and
pointing at her, this will be a
Long shot of the character walking
in between the people, with footage
cutting from them to Close ups of
the main character and then cutting
back to Close ups of the other
people she is interacting with. A
long shot will be used, and it
will be of the character walking
past a homeless man and she then
stops and looks at him this will
be another Long shot of both of
these characters and then a Close
up of the homeless man will appear
on screen and is seen kneeling down
in front of him while still
drinking her drink, this will be a
Medium shot from behind the main
character (Over the shoulder shot),
the homeless man then wakes up to
see her kneeling in front of him
watching him, which will then be a
Close up of the homeless man waking
up and reaching towards the main
character to grab her which then
the main character is seen grabbing
the cup with his money in and
running in the opposite direction
with it and this will also be a
long shot.
The music continues with the
same beat as the beginning but
the tempo has begun to speed up,
making the series of events
happen quicker.
35 seconds into the song the
lyrics are :“ And she gave away
the secrets of her past and said
I’ve lost control again, and of
a voice that told when and where
to act, she said I’ve lost
control again”

3. 1:00 – 1:30 – When the character
is running off she is looking over
her shoulder to see if the man is
following her this will be a Close
up/Medium shot. After the
character is seen running off with
the homeless man’s money , she
bumps into someone and nearly
falls to the ground until the other
female character reaches out and
grabs her arms to prevent in from
happening and the cup falls to the
ground and the money spills out on
the floor, both these shots will be
close ups, the main character is
then seen, looking up towards the
other character which will be a
Medium shot and then she will start
picking up the cup and money (Close
up) the other character kneels on
the floor and starts picking up the
money this will be a close up/
medium, shot then a low angle/
close up of the cup and the two
characters feet walking off in the
distance.
Around 1:08 the lyrics are : “
and she turned around and took
me by the hand and said I’ve
lsot control again, and how I’ll
never know just why or
understand , she said I’ve lost
control again, and she screamed
out kicking on her side she
said I’ve lost control again
and seized up on the floor, I
thought she’d died, she said
I’ve lost control”
The music for this part of the
song still maintains a quick
beat and tempo, mainly the bass
and drums are played throughout
this part of the song.
4. 1:30 – 2:00 – in this part of the
song , after both the characters
have now met each other the main
character turns around this will be
again a Medium shot of both the
characters turning around and then
then it will cut to a Long shot of
the homeless man then appearing and
running towards the other
characters , then it will cut back
to a Close up of the two characters
seeing the homeless man , then they
will look at each other and then it
will cut to a long shot of the two
running away from the homeless man.
The music in this part of the
song, has a quicker tempo,
especially after the lyrics in
this part are said music is
mostly heard for a large part of
this section of the song.
The lyrics in this part of the
song from 1:35 to 1:45 the
lyrics “ she’s lost control
again” are repeated.

5. 2:00 – 2:30 A long shot will be
used of the two characters running
towards the tram platform where
they will be stood when, then it
will cut to a close up of them both
sitting down on the seat on the
platform. Then a long shot of the
homeless man, through one of the
windows of the tram to the other
side of the platform, then a
medium/ close up shot of the tram
leaving the platform, and then a
long shot and close up of the other
side where the homeless man is was
stood, were he will no longer be
there.
Drums, guitar, and bass are
mostly heard for the first part,
of this section of the song,
with a steady, yet still
slightly quick tempo.
At the last part of this section
of the song, the lyrics are :
“ well I had to phone her friend
and state my case and say she’s
lost control again”.
6. 2:30 – 3:00 – After this a close up
of the two character’s faces will
be used to show the confusion to
where the homeless man has gone.
Then a long shot of the two walking
towards another tram stop, there
another close up, of the characters
faces will be used when they sit on
the bench. Then an over the
shoulder shot of the main character
pulling out an empty wallet and
taking a picture of a male out ,
then a close up shot of the picture
and then it cuts back to a a Medium
shot of the two characters looking
at the picture and the main
character crying . Then a long shot
of the character getting onto the
tram.
The lyrics in this section of
the song at 2:38 which are “
and she showed up all the errors
and mistakes she said I’ve lost
control again, but she expressed
herself in many different ways
until she lost control again
and walked upon the edge of no
escape and laughed I’ve lost
control”.
The music in this part of the
song still maintains the same
beat and tempo.
7. 3:00 – 3:30 – The two characters
are now seen sitting on the tram,
this will be a mid-shot, which then
will cut to a close up of the main
character looking out the window,
and then the other character looks
at her with to try and cheer her
up. Then a long shot of the out of
the window of the tram of the
scenery as it is passing by.
The tempo and beat is still the
same but eventually start to
slow slow down having a more
calming sound, as opposed to the
aggressive sound it had before.

9. 3:30 – 4:00 - The final part of my
video shows the two characters
getting off the tram at the stop.
Which will be a medium shot and
then a long shot of the two walking
away from the stop. Then a medium
shot of the two saying goodbye to
each other, where the other female
character hugs the main character
and puts money into her pocket
without knowing then she walks off
in the opposite direction of the
main character, the shot the cuts
towards the main character this
will be a long shot aswell, who is
walking in the opposite direction
of the other character reaches to
put her hands in her pocket this is
a close up of her reaching into her
pocket and pulls out the money,
then a close up of her turning
around and looking to where the
other character was to see she
wasn’t there, and then it cuts back
to her walking away (long shot).
The music has the same beat as
the rest of the song but then
towards the bend it slowly ,
starts to slow down towards the
end.
There are no lyrics in this part
of the song.
