The world is changing continuously and the change in technology in global world is making the
economy faster and faster. And every organization wants to survive in these faster economies with
saving their time and money.
So, management of organizations are trying to import new technologies I their each departments for
efficient and effective work . Human resource department is one of the departments who wants to
adopt new technologies for satisfied their employees as well as possible.
In the human resource department recruitment is an important function because the whole
organization is dependant on employees and its HRM objective to select best candidate suitable for
post in firm.

RECRUITMENT- It refers to the process of appointing possible candidates for
job or a function.It has been defined as the process of searching for
prospective employees and stimulating them to apply for jobs in an
organisation
SELECTION- It refers to select to best candidate from job seekers for the
organisation post. Selection is part of recruitment .
PROCESS OF RECRUITMENT
•IDENTIFY VACANCIES-First step in the process of recruitment is to analysis the no of workers presented and no of
workers required for vacant post
• PREPARE JOB SPECIFICATION- Preparing the eligibility criteria for vancancies. It makes easier to picking up more
competent and suitable employees.
•Advertise- Firm has to advertise the vacanicies by internal or external sources
•Short listing- After all this recruiters have to short list the eligible candidates for calling interview
•Conduct The Interview- Then conducting the interview by using diffrenet methods to select best candidates.
•Decision Making- recruiters have to take decision about selection of best candidate which is suitable for post.
•Appointment Action- Then at last management have to send the appointment letter to candidate to join post or to
take training if necessary.
But all of these conducting the interview is the most important step because recruiter have to decide
the employees, who will be able to involve in the management process and interview is the method
for recruiters to know everything about candidate in minimum time .
In many companies ,human resource management uses general method to conduct interview
which is time consuming and also take much efforts. Most of companies are trying to take
interview face to face at a specific designation on which candidate have to answer the asked
questions by recruiters.
In the general method :-
 management have to shortlist the candidates for interview. For shortlist management uses the
application forms filled by candidates and the result of the test conducted may be used.
Then candidates are informed about the place and time for the interview by email ,message,
phone call or any other communication medium can be used.
A group of people included experience persons who are able to judge the candidate by their
question and answers given by candidate , the body language and behavior of speak and
intelligence is also check in this step.
In 21st century as the technology is increasing recruitment
methods are also changes with simple methods and in the
selfie age or upcoming age the video interview methods are
rising with a great performance.

The live interview is a two-way conversation between
the candidate and interviewer. Live video interviews
can be performed over VOiP software like Skype,
oovoo ,viber etc.
Live interviews are generally used further along in the
hiring process as a way to learn more about a
candidate without shelling out money for traveling
costs.
Live video interviews are a good fit for:-
 Sourcing candidate from different locations- live video interview is a great way to reduces the
traveling cost and hotel room cost.
 sales positions-It enables interpersonal communication between recruiter and candidate with live
video interviews, organization can keep your eyes peeled for body language and eye contact.
 Decisions that need input from multiple teams.- It’s hard to get members of multiple
departments in the same room at the same time for interviews.
 It will make your business appear larger-live video interview enables firm to conduct interview
from far away cities or countries. It increases the area of recruitment for firm and also increases the
quantity of applicants.
In an automated interview the employer pre-records or writes a list of interview questions for
candidates to record answers. One major benefit here is timing. With no set interview time, the
candidate can record interviews after work, and the interviewer can watch and re-watch
answers at their convenience.
Automated interviews are a good fit for:
 Tricky schedules- If the candidate is currently employed, it can be tough to find time for an in-
person or phone interview during normal working hours. The pre-recorded option lets them
complete the interview anywhere and anytime.
 Customer service positions- For customer service
,that require interpersonal communication skills, a
recording of the candidate’s answers can help
employers gain deeper insight into verbal skills.
 Narrowing down a large pool of candidates- While
it’s only possible to conduct about two traditional
phone interviews in an hour, employers can review 10-
20 pre-recorded interviews in that same time frame. It
saves the time to conduct interview for each candidate.
The companies are adopting digital interview method for recruitment because of its easier techniques

Ask to log on to a website and submit video response to interview questions in lieu of talking with a
human.
But companies need a digital interview platform to this they need some king of software which helps
them to contain videos, rating of interviews , and ranking top interview in a list.
 Some of the interview platform used by companies are HIREVUE, INTERVIEWSTREAM, WEPOW,
TALVIEW, EASYHIRE, ECRUTE, CLOUD INTERVIEW etc.
 Recently, hirevue which is used by cigna corp. and other firms said that it hosted nearly 3 million vieo
interviews last year.
 and FRANK ABATE, a senior recruiter in cigna corp. said by adopting video interview, one of his
colleagues racked up more than $1 million annually travelling to meet candidates is now under
$100,000 .

  • 3. The world is changing continuously and the change in technology in global world is making the economy faster and faster. And every organization wants to survive in these faster economies with saving their time and money. So, management of organizations are trying to import new technologies I their each departments for efficient and effective work . Human resource department is one of the departments who wants to adopt new technologies for satisfied their employees as well as possible. RECRUITMENT- It refers to the process of appointing possible candidates for job or a function.It has been defined as the process of searching for prospective employees and stimulating them to apply for jobs in an organisation SELECTION- It refers to select to best candidate from job seekers for the organisation post. Selection is part of recruitment . PROCESS OF RECRUITMENT •IDENTIFY VACANCIES-First step in the process of recruitment is to analysis the no of workers presented and no of workers required for vacant post • PREPARE JOB SPECIFICATION- Preparing the eligibility criteria for vancancies. It makes easier to picking up more competent and suitable employees. •Advertise- Firm has to advertise the vacanicies by internal or external sources •Short listing- After all this recruiters have to short list the eligible candidates for calling interview •Conduct The Interview- Then conducting the interview by using diffrenet methods to select best candidates. •Decision Making- recruiters have to take decision about selection of best candidate which is suitable for post. •Appointment Action- Then at last management have to send the appointment letter to candidate to join post or to take training if necessary. But all of these conducting the interview is the most important step because recruiter have to decide the employees, who will be able to involve in the management process and interview is the method for recruiters to know everything about candidate in minimum time .
  • 5. In many companies ,human resource management uses general method to conduct interview which is time consuming and also take much efforts. Most of companies are trying to take interview face to face at a specific designation on which candidate have to answer the asked questions by recruiters. In the general method :-  management have to shortlist the candidates for interview. For shortlist management uses the application forms filled by candidates and the result of the test conducted may be used. Then candidates are informed about the place and time for the interview by email ,message, phone call or any other communication medium can be used. A group of people included experience persons who are able to judge the candidate by their question and answers given by candidate , the body language and behavior of speak and intelligence is also check in this step.

In 21st century as the technology is increasing recruitment methods are also changes with simple methods and in the selfie age or upcoming age the video interview methods are rising with a great performance. video interviewing is a must-have resource for hiring top talent into organization. video interviewing software seamlessly places live video interviewing into the hiring process. candidates are engage in face-to-face conversations much earlier in the hiring process.   • 7. The live interview is a two-way conversation between the candidate and interviewer. Live video interviews can be performed over VOiP software like Skype, oovoo ,viber etc. Live interviews are generally used further along in the hiring process as a way to learn more about a candidate without shelling out money for traveling costs. Live video interviews are a good fit for:-  Sourcing candidate from different locations- live video interview is a great way to reduces the traveling cost and hotel room cost.  sales positions-It enables interpersonal communication between recruiter and candidate with live video interviews, organization can keep your eyes peeled for body language and eye contact.  Decisions that need input from multiple teams.- It’s hard to get members of multiple departments in the same room at the same time for interviews.  It will make your business appear larger-live video interview enables firm to conduct interview from far away cities or countries. It increases the area of recruitment for firm and also increases the quantity of applicants.
  • 8. In an automated interview the employer pre-records or writes a list of interview questions for candidates to record answers. One major benefit here is timing. With no set interview time, the candidate can record interviews after work, and the interviewer can watch and re-watch answers at their convenience. Automated interviews are a good fit for:  Tricky schedules- If the candidate is currently employed, it can be tough to find time for an in- person or phone interview during normal working hours. The pre-recorded option lets them complete the interview anywhere and anytime.  Customer service positions- For customer service ,that require interpersonal communication skills, a recording of the candidate’s answers can help employers gain deeper insight into verbal skills.  Narrowing down a large pool of candidates- While it’s only possible to conduct about two traditional phone interviews in an hour, employers can review 10- 20 pre-recorded interviews in that same time frame. It saves the time to conduct interview for each candidate.

  • 14. The companies are adopting digital interview method for recruitment because of its easier techniques Companies like CIGNA CORP, GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC. and INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP Ask to log on to a website and submit video response to interview questions in lieu of talking with a human. But companies need a digital interview platform to this they need some king of software which helps them to contain videos, rating of interviews , and ranking top interview in a list.  Some of the interview platform used by companies are HIREVUE, INTERVIEWSTREAM, WEPOW, TALVIEW, EASYHIRE, ECRUTE, CLOUD INTERVIEW etc.  Recently, hirevue which is used by cigna corp. and other firms said that it hosted nearly 3 million vieo interviews last year.  and FRANK ABATE, a senior recruiter in cigna corp. said by adopting video interview, one of his colleagues racked up more than $1 million annually travelling to meet candidates is now under $100,000 .
