Develop occupational health policies, guidelines and procedure in relation Occupational Safety and Health

2. Develop occupational health projects and programs to keep employees, customer and the general public
safe from harm by assessing the work environment and providing inputs to the facilities and project
managers for the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures.
Monitors occupational health incidents/cases and maintain a health incident record system; and translate
it to a meaningful report that will be submitted to SHE Manager.
Plan and initiate an investigation process for all health and safety incident in the workplace and assist each
business unit to mitigate the risk by providing occupational safety and health controls.
Standardize the occupational health services and work environment measurement in compliance with the
Philippines occupational safety and health standards RULE 1960 (Occupational Health Services), RULE
1070 (Occupational Health and Environmental Control) and other rules related to occupational health
programs and services.
Manage occupational health clinics in project sites in developing clinic management processes, guidelines
and procedures.
Act as the subject matter expert for occupational health services and managing occupational health
physicians and nurses’ recruitment and deployment to project sites.
Review monthly and annual work accident illness report and annual medical report to Department of
Labor and Employment.
Design programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Assess and inspect all projects sites to identify biological, chemical and radiological hazards and
documents these hazard using a Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Determining and Control
document.
Develop and maintain management information systems which identify the location of occupational health
hazardous materials in all facilities that may pose adverse health effects to workers.
Updating and delivering employee training programs related to occupational health hazardous materials
and other occupational health programs.
Investigating employee complaints concerning exposure to occupational health hazardous materials and
other toxicants that can have an adverse effect in employee’s health.
Maintaining accurate records related to chemical inventories, complaint investigations, and other
occupational health issues and concerns.
Keeping informed of current and proposed regulations related to occupational health and safety program
in all project sites.
Coordinate and collaborate with an external provider in conducting work environmental measurement to
sample hazardous and/or industrial waste of material suspected of containing toxicants that can pose
health threat to all workers and the public.
Submitting clear and concise written reports based on project site occupational health and safety
inspections and group management system audit.
Recommend and coordinate the occupational health and safety programs needed by the organization to
comply with local and international occupational health and safety standards.
Act as one of Safety, Health and Environment Assessor.

• Management
 Assists in conducting Field inspection and Audit to determine compliance with SHE
requirements, OHSAS 18001, and all applicable SHE Laws and Regulations.
